2010 PR Committee members wanted.

Public Relations are very important but exciting function of the District 76. Currently four members (including me) are working in the Public Relations committee, and we need more members to let the world know about Toastmasters to bring new friends to our clubs.
 
Please read below job descriptions. If you are interested in any of below positions, please contact Kiminari Azuma, Public Relations Officer, District 76. We need your talents, experiences and skills.
 
Overview
Public Relations Committee is responsible for 1) letting the world know about the Toastmasters 2) letting the Toastmasters members know about "what's new" in the District 76. Committee members’ main duties are to carry out above mentioned duties.
 
Open Positions (one can assume multiple duties)
-   Position 1 : D76 Web editors - 1 person
-   Publishing the news articles on D76 website. Keeping the D76 website up-to-date.
Required skills and tenets
Keeping the promise and due dates: Most important.
Language skills : English and/or Japanese
Web technical knowledge : Preferred but not mandatory
 
Work locations
-   Your home. (We sometimes get together to hold Committee meeting, however we also hold Skype-based meeting.)
  
-   Position 2 : Public Relations - 1 person
Issue press releases
Required skills and tenets
Keeping the promise and due dates: Most important.
Language skills : English and/or Japanese
Experiences in writing the press releases : Preferred but not mandatory
  
Work locations
-   Your home. (We sometimes get together to hold Committee meeting, however we also hold Skype-based meeting.)
 
-   Position 3 : Language support - 5 to 10 persons
Proof-reading the texts written in English by Japanese editors/contributors
Required skills and tenets
Keeping the promise: Most important.
Language skills : English - mandatory, Japanese - optional
 
Work locations
-   Your home.
    
-   Position 4 : Twitter/Facebook Editor (English) - 1 person
Tweeting on D76 Twitter and maintaing D76 Facebook page.
Keeping the promise: Most important.
Language skills : English - mandatory, Japanese - optional
 
Work location
-   Your home. (We sometimes get together to hold Committee meeting, however we also hold Skype-based meeting.)
 
-   Position 5 : FreeToastHost helpdesk – 1 person
Providing technical support for clubs running their website on the FreeToastHost. (We use Skype)

Skills and experience with FreeToastHost is mandatory.
Language skills : English - mandatory, Japanese - optional
