Kansai Toastmasters Club 50th Anniversary Celebration & Kansai TMC&Takarazuka TMC Joint Meeting

TM Yukari Nagata
Kansai TMC 50th Anniversary Committee Chair

We had a special meeting to celebrate the Kansai TMC 50th Anniversary on 9th of January, 2016. It specially had 2parts, the first half was for Congratulatory, and the second half was the joint meeting with the Takarazuka TMC. There were 84 participants at the Kobe Club, including the ex-Kansai TMC members and lots of TMs from other clubs and the event was really great.
We had a choir as a special session; the voluntary TMs sang “We are the World” on the stage together conducted by Ms Okubo, who was also former member.
The former members’ Table Topics Speeches astonished us and we’re also impressed by the recollections delivered by the experienced TMs.

It might be the first experience for some TMs to have a meeting with lunch. How was it? I suppose it was a little hard for you…

Once the joint meeting started, each session was smoothly executed and every performance was awesome. All participants enjoyed the heated program. All staffs were nominated from the both clubs, such as TMD, GE, TTM, Timers, and Vote Counters. The Best TTS and the Best Evaluator were awarded from Kansai TMC, and the Best Speaker was from Takarazuka TMC.
Draw was the best scenario, wasn’t it?

Also 4 prospective clubs had a chance to have time for PR, which were attractive. Then there was an   announcement from the committee members of   the District Conference entertainingly performed   with lots of humor.
Now I’m thinking back with gratitude on the big event. No word could ever express enough how much I appreciate all of attendances and warm support.
Thank you so much.
