Toastmasters International District 76 to Hold All-Japan Speech Contest

May. 13th, 2014
 Toastmasters International District 76 will hold the Spring Conference from May 16 (Fri.) through 18 (Sun.) at Rafre Saitama. At this conference, the finals of the Japanese and the English speech contests will be held, where six contestants who won the preliminary rounds from 151 clubs nationwide will compete. The Japanese final will be held in the afternoon of May 17, and the English will be held in the morning of May 18.

The winner of the English final will proceed, as the representative of District 76, to the 2014 Toastmasters International Convention Semi-Finals held in Malaysia in August.

The guests of District 76 Spring Conference include Mr. Daniel Rex, the CEO of Toastmasters International. In the evening of May 16, Mr. Rex is going to open an English workshop and in the morning of May 18, he will be the English keynote speaker.
