New Year Greetings from LGM Azuma, Jan 2014

Kiminari Azuma
District76 Lt.Governor Marketing, 2013-2014

Happy New Year, Toastmasters!

Looking back at the first half of 2013-2014, there were many fantastic things happened in District 76.  Tokai Business, Shimonoseki, Morinomiyako and Crescent Lunch officially chartered and their 85 members joined our “Toastmasters” family. Not only four new clubs chartered but we welcomed 667 new members to clubs in District 76. On top of that, 17 organizations and/or individuals sent me email asking for help to build Toastmasters clubs at their offices and in their communities. Aren’t these exciting?

To keep this momentum going, I commit to make the following things happen in the second half of 2013-2014.

· There are 20 prospective clubs in District 76. I promise to help 7 most “vibrant” clubs charter, and to extend helping hands to the 13 clubs so they will gain momentum and become vibrant too.

· To run multiple marketing educational programs that will help clubs welcome more new members, and will help members feel the value of Toastmasters program so more members will renew their membership in April.

Ten of the D76 Marketing Committee members and I are more than happy to support all of you. Let’s make it happen!
