    The 4th Communication Leadership Award

    Toastmasters International District 76 Japan presents the Communication and Leadership Award of this year to Ambassador Caroline Bouvier Kennedy. The awarding ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 28th, 5:00p.m. at National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Yoyogi Tokyo, as part of a program of Toastmasters District 76 Fall Conference.

    Past International President Gary Schmidt to Visit

    Past International President of Toastmasters International Gary Schmidt, DTM will participate as the Guest of Honor in Toastmasters International District 76 Spring Conference 2015. The conference is held from May 15 to 17 at National Olympics Memorial Youth Center in Tokyo. He is going to give two keynote addresses on leadership: “How to Make Your Dreams Come True” on the evening of 16th, and “The Secrets of Successful Leaders” on the morning of 17th.

    District 76 to Hold All-Japan Speech Contest

    Toastmasters International District 76 will hold the Fall Conference from Nov. 14 (Fri.) through 16 (Sun.) at National Institution for Youth Education National Olympic Memorial Youth Center. At this conference, the finals of the Japanese and the English speech contests will be held, where six contestants who won the preliminary rounds from 159 clubs nationwide will compete. The Japanese final will be held in the afternoon of Nov 15, and the English will be held in the morning of Nov 16.

    District 76 to Hold All-Japan Speech Contest

    Toastmasters International District 76 will hold the Spring Conference from May 16 (Fri.) through 18 (Sun.) at Rafre Saitama. At this conference, the finals of the Japanese and the English speech contests will be held, where six contestants who won the preliminary rounds from 151 clubs nationwide will compete. The Japanese final will be held in the afternoon of May 17, and the English will be held in the morning of May 18.

    The 2nd Communication Leadership Award

    Tokyo, JAPAN : Toastmasters International District 76 (Representative: Kiichiro Ohmi) presented 2013 Speaker of the Year Award (official name: Communication and Leadership Award) to Dr. Shigeaki Hinohara, a doctor and Chairman of Board of Trustees, St. Luke's International Medical Center and Honorary President, St. Luke's International Hospital. The video of the awarding ceremony will be shown to the public on November 16th in the Toastmasters International District 76 All Japan Fall Conference in Fukuoka city.


  • A New Official Toastmasters Club in Okinawa

    A New Official Toastmasters Club in Okinawa

    A newly-charted Toastmasters Club in Okinawa, Shuri Trilingual Toastmasters Club is to hold a charter ceremony on June 2nd at Bankoku Shinryokan in Nago-City. Representing the members of District 76, all Japan Toastmasters, Kazuko Kawauchi, the governor of District 76 will attend the ceremony. In addition, Alfred R. Magleby, United States Consul General, Naha, will participate as a special guest to make a congratulatory address.

    All-Japan Speech Contest at Nagoya Congress Center

    Toastmasters International District 76 is going to hold the Spring Conference from May 17 (Fri.) through 19 (Sun.) at Nagoya Congress Center. In this conference, the finals of Japanese and English speech contests will be held, where six contestants each who won the preliminary rounds among almost 140 clubs nationwide will compete.

    IPIP Michael Notaro to visit Japan

    Immediate Past International President of Toastmasters International Michael Notaro, DTM will participate as a special guest in Toastmasters International District 76 Fall Conference 2012. The conference is held from November 16 to 18 at Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall in Kanagawa Prefecture. He is going to give two keynote addresses on leadership: “Toastmasters: Achieving Greatness Together” on the evening of 16th, and “Toastmasters: Where Leaders are Made” on the afternoon of 17th.

    The 1st Communication Leadership Award

    Professor Emeritus Donald Keene is the winner of the 2012 Communication and Leadership Award (a.k.a. Speaker of the Year Award), he will receive his award at the Toastmasters All Japan Conference on Saturday November 17 at the Kawasaki-shi Sangyo Shinko Kaikan. This award is presented annually by Toastmasters Japan to a Speaker and/or a Communicator in our society who is highly influential in the areas of communication and leadership.
