New Year Greetings

Snowball Effect

Seiko Matsumoto
LGET (Lieutenant Governor Education and Training)

A Happy New Year!!

Half of the term has ended with the result of 54 CCs(goal 166) and 20 ACs(goal 47). Is it satisfactory or a letdown? For me, it is beyond expectation. Why? Because something slow at the starting point gathers steam, gaining speed or momentum in most cases. “Snowball Effect,”in other words. I’m pleased to see a small ball rolling down a snow hill get bigger and bigger at a fast rate. Likewise, DCP can roll. I believe clubs will achieve more and more awards toward the end of June.

To secure a greater result, I employed a strategy of “stick and carrot,” although “stick” was not used this time. Only carrots named “Educational Premium” were provided. Are you ready to get as many educational manuals as possible? No roll, no growth or reward. You are the ones who keep your snowballs rolling and rolling. Good luck.
