I hope that this mail will find you and your club members doing well.
Please find below District Procedures 2012–2013 adopted by the District Executive Committee (ECM) and confirmed by the Toastmasters International. The Procedures cover operational processes at the district level.  Please share the information with your club members.
I. Appointed District Officers
The following district officers shall be appointed by the District Governor.
(1) District Secretary,  (2) District Treasurer,  (3) Public Relations Officer,  (4) Area Governors
II. District Speech Contests
The District will hold two contests in a year. The contest to be held in conjunction with the Spring Conference shall be the International Speech Contest. The other contest shall be held in conjunction with the Fall Conference and will be one of the following contests, in the order of Table Topics, Tall Tales, Humorous and Evaluation contest.
III. The number of contestants from a club
The club that belongs to an area with four or fewer clubs can send two contestants per club to compete in the Area Contest.
IV. The number of contestants from an area
The area that belongs to a Division with four or fewer areas can send two contestants per area to compete in the Division Contest.
Note: Other District Procedures will be added to the above list when they are ! adopted by the ECM and confirmed by TMI.
